Eis-Cafe Venezia in Frankfurt

I cannot share the negative experience. I often eat ice cream there and I think it's not the best ice cream but the taste is in the upper range of 8 out of 10 points. The owners in particular were very nice and attentive.

Ice cream was very tasty, but the cafe wasn't convincing.

Inconspicuous service, 15 minutes to take my order, although few guests were present Ice cream is middle class TOO BAD!

We enjoyed two coffees and two sundaes of ice cream there at noon today. Black Forest and a Raffaelo mug. Very tasty and not too expensive. Service very nice and fast. I can't rate the interior, just sat outside and I didn't really look inside either. But cake was still first and foremost ... it looked good. A star deduction because the chairs and tables outside have seen better days. But otherwise everything is ok.

There is only one star for the really polite staff. Unfortunately, the ice cream doesn't taste good at all and you should keep your hands off the iced coffee. The iced coffee tastes like water mixed with cocoa, not at all like iced coffee.

We ordered 4 drinks but the 2 ice coffee fell because the baby moved the table, which was half lame, and the glasses broke. The waiter kindly cleared the table and brought another 2 ice coffees, without asking. When the bill arrived, we were surprised that they had charged the 4 ice cafes, and even the 2 broken copies. Good product and zero courtesy.

In this place several drinks are ordered, 2 of them were Eiskaffe, our baby grabbed the table and threw the 2 Eiskaffe. We warned, they picked it up and they brought us another 2 thinking they would be courtesy, since it was an accident. So far good. They brought us the bill and to our surprise they had charged us for the Eiskaffe that fell and the broken glasses !!! € 29 in total, a shame, since they didn't even ask us if we wanted another drink, they just took it out. ??

Super delicious ice cream, nice seats and friendly service. Unfortunately there is no oat or soy milk for the café, but I still love to come here. In Bornheim for me definitely the tastiest Italian ice cream ?

Were eating ice cream and cake for two. The ice cream tasted very good. I can't understand the bad reviews. The cake was delicious too. The ice cream and cake were fresh. The Eis-Cafe-Venezia is the best ice cream parlor in and around Frankfurt !! I will definitely drop by more often !!

Unfortunately I have to agree with the bad reviews. My husband and I got spaghetti ice cream and the vanilla ice cream tasted like everything just don't make vanilla. Fortunately, the strawberry sauce was delicious, otherwise it would not have been edible.

Unfortunately, I could not test the ice because we waited 20 minutes for the table to be cleared by the previous guest. We left again. The table was still not cleared. My kids then got their ice cream at the street vendors. So, the service is simply not there! Was the last time I was there. Am very disappointed!

This is a rather challenging review. I love the extra dark chocolate here, it tastes like brownie batter. It's also the only kind I ever get. So I can't speak for the rest. There is a new pricing scheme now, where a regular scoop is one price, 1.30, and the premium is 1.60. If you get a scoop or two from the walk up window, do not expect that you are able to sit at the tables, as those are reserved for waiter service.

We wanted to eat ice cream yesterday and sat in the well but not overcrowded outdoor area. After a few minutes we were still not noticed by the waitresses and a short time later customers who had come after us were served before. When after 20 minutes there was still no service with us we left ... So I can not say anything about the quality, but the prices are very high. It is a pity that you as a customer will probably only be served if you draw attention. This is not a service!

Service is concerned with itself. Children and many other people jump around in the kitchen. The waffles were cold, the ice immediately soggy. Here is the worm in it! A pity, was really good.

The Venezia is certainly one of the best ice cream parlors in Frankfurt and is certainly the best in Bornheim. I find the variety of ice creams and most icebreaker creations delicious and the prices reasonable for Frankfurt standards. Above all, guests can sit relaxed on the Gass (the upper Berger street) and watch the hustle and bustle.

A little overpriced, but that's as much the location as the general pricing climate. Good ice cream, good coffee.
